SPCP register token rejected on 525 phones

getting this issue on the remote phone, the vpn is connected fine.  but the phone keeps saying the same message

SPCP register token rejected. the phone has 7.4.7 firmware and the firmware on the uc is 7.4.2

any solutions on how to get this fixed?

Did you look at the software pack (8.1 Latest) that you are running on the UC side of the fence, you can also drop the latest SPA525G firmware onto the UC side of the fence

This may fix your issue, the issue revolves around the phone having newer firmware then the UC does

I'm pretty sure I have seen that before.  Make sure you have the phone model defined correctly. You may have a SPA525G or SPA525G2.  You need to look at the label on the bottom of the phone.  Once verified as 525G or 525G2, make sure you have that matching your config.

One very simple thought that comes to mind - make sure you have enough licenses for that remote phone...

Not sure if you're still seeing this, but what model of 525 do you have (G or G2)?  Also, what software pack is on the UC?   What IOS version do you see in 'show ver'?
