SR520 licensing considerations when put in front of a UC540?

We have a UC-540 at the gateway of our network (performing routing, NAT, QOS, DHCP, etc).

Every time we have to reboot the UC-540 (or it reboots itself) we not only cant surf, but cant call wither.

We are considering placing a 4-port Cisco 520 Secure Router (SR520-FE-K9) in front of the UC540 (as a gateway router) so we can still surf when the UC540 is rebooting or under repair.

Will we still be able to use the vpn's built into the SPA525G2's and the Cisco AnyConnect VPN software necessary to use the soft phone client when we purchase the SR520-FE-K9, or will we need to by additional SSL/VPN licensing for the SR520-FE-K9?

Thanks.

Re: SR520 licensing considerations when put in front of a UC540?

The SR520-T1 is the only supported router to be placed in front of the UC 500.  The SA500 is also supported (more limited support) as a UTM.

The SR520-FE or ADSL are intended to be remote teleworker routers only.

The UC 500 shouldnt be rebooting and that should be addressed.
