SSL VPN - SPA525G with IP Negotiated (PPPoeE)

Hi All,

We are having some troubles configuring the WAN for a staic IP while using a UC540 as the router on PPPoE (ADSL2)

Although we have a static IP assigned by the ISP, this is only negotiated through PPPoE.

We therefore cannont configure SSL VPN, which means the the SPA525G phone cannot connect using the built in VPN client.

Nor can we use the VPN Phone Wizard and a pre-requisite is to configure the WAN as Static.

We are using CCA 3.0 (1) and are now considering using CLI to configure this, but I'm guessing this willnot enable use to use the VPN Phone Wizard, which sets ups the Anyconnect VPN etc.

Please assist where possible.

The fix for this was to configure the SSL VPN cia CLI. This enables the Https://(external ip) distribute the Anyconnect VPN.

To connect an SPA525G to the system via VPN, you will need to enter the static IP manually into the phone which then proceeds to authenticate with the UC500 router.

THe VPN Phone Wizard won't recognise the SSL VPN, so this cannot be done in CCA.
