Hello,
We have an Cisco UC540W-BRI-K9 and now we have a new ERP (Sage) which is compatible with TAPI protocol.
What do I need to add telephony feature in our ERP (clic to call) ?
The UC540 is natively compatible with TAPI protocol to control an IP Phone ? Or we need Smart CallConnector ?
There are restrictions about IP Phone ?
There are some documentation somewhere ?
Thank you.
Best Regards.

You need Smart CallConnector for TAPI applications to work.
TAPI works only for SCCP phones, not for SIP phones.

TAPI is not a protocol, it is a driver interface.
You need a vendor-specific driver that provides the bridge between TAPI and the PBX.
Cisco has a TAPI driver that is packaged with the Smart CallConnector Toolbar (which is free).
I think there might also be a stand-alone version of the driver... haven't looked in awhile.
