We are experiencing an odd issue with our UC540 with VWIC2-1MFT-T1/E1 voice interface card.
The system runs fine for about 20 or 30 minutes, then staff are unable to get a line when they pick up the phone and get the engaged tone instead.
CLI reports the following information and the UC is unusable with the CPU going haywire until it is restarted.
efxs_onhook_offhook: call is already reserved on htsp 50/0/293.1 cdb 0x8C531690
%IVR-3-LOW_CPU_RESOURCE: IVR: System experiencing high cpu utilization (97/100).
Call (callID=257) is rejected.
Call (callID=258) is rejected
...
Any assistance would be appreciated.
Thank you

Very likely a software bug. Can you upgrade to the latest software? I believe the last software pack release for UC540 was 8.6.2.

We upgraded to the 8.6.2. software pack some time ago. Would a reinstall possibly help?
Thanks
