UC520 failed and will not boot. Possible CF card problem.

My UC520 will not boot back up after a power failure.  The fan remains on high speed and the OS doesn't appear to be booting.  Prior to the failure, I upgraded to the latest 8.6 software using CCA 3.2(1) on a server running Windows Small Business Server 2003.  I'm pretty sure the CF card has fried because when I plugged it into a reader on the PC, it froze the computer.  The internal (1GB) CF card did not crash the computer, but I was unable to see what files are on it since it is not formatted for Windows.  I am assuming that card is still in tact.  Can someone give me instructions on which specific files (preferrably from the latest software pack, but any that will work for me) I need to transfer to the CF Card, and how exactly to do that using my PC?  I have tried transferring what I THINK is the image file (the filename started with "advipservices" and transferred to the CF after formatting the card in windows using FAT), but it did not help.  I have been searching the forum and have found people with similar problems.  The solutions mention that the IOS file is a ".bin" file, but I could not find one in the latest software pack. Also, I seem to be confused on how to operate the console port.  Do I simply plug my computer directly to the console port using an ethernet cable?  I am an amateur at best in any IT issue, so sorry if I am asking dumb questions.  Any help on getting me back up and running will be very much appreciated.

I have also tried the procedure shown here:

https://supportforums.cisco.com/docs/DOC-9766

After connecting my PC to the WAN port using the specified IP address, the connection goes up and down as described.  When I am suppose to "Start a tftp program on PC/Laptop and put an image file in the directory that is being shared", I am unsure which is the image file for the 8.6 software, and I am unsure which directory to put it in.  I assume it is the directory in which the Pumpkin software is directed to in the options.  After typing in those commands, the Pumpkin software asks to "grant access", I click yes, and after a few seconds, it aborts and says "packet file too large".   When I type in "reset" in ROMMON mode, I get the following:

I have resolved this problem.  After familiarizing myself with the "console" input and TFTP servers, I was able to load the IOS image file onto the CF card.  The internal CF card was unaffected, and all of my information was retained.  The "packet file too large" error I was receiving was a Pumpkin software issue.  I ended up using another TFTP program called SolarWinds and it worked fine.
