Hello,
I have a strange FXO Problem:
In my test-environment I'm using a PAP2T to simulate POTS for the UC500 (UC520). With this I can pretty good reproduce a real world problem at one of my customers site:
crackling in the voice connection (naming verified via http://www.cisco.com/en/US/tech/tk652/tk698/technologies_white_paper09186a00801545e4.shtml#stat).
Connecting an analog Phone to the PAP2T-FXS gives nice voice quality.
Connecting UC500-FXS to UC500-FXO gives also nice voice quality.
But connecting PAP2T-FXS to UC500-FXO gives very bad crackling.
I've checked a lot of things:
signaling, gain, impedance, codecs on both sides, but nothing makes it better.
Does someone have an idea?
Thanks
Ognian
