Is it possible to view how many ssl vpn licenses are available on a uc520 in cli?

No, the box comes with 10 SSL VPN licenses.  You cannot buy more for the UC520.  No need to look it up, it only has 10.

Not sure I understand the license issue but can say this.  The UC5xx supports 5 sites in a full mesh IPsec tunnel Multisite environment and

for EZVPN clients for remote teleworkers = 10 for UC520/UC540, and 20 for UC520.

since you cant add licenses I'm just looking for what the system supports. I'm use to the asa licensing and I thought it would be similar. I wasn't sure if it is 10 total vpn connections, or a certain number of ipsec, ssl ext....

gotcha.  10 total supported UC520/UC540, 20 on UC560.
