Does UC540 have a billing system? What kind of CDR output that customer can read?

Can UC540 has the ability to know which user called where and for howlong?

is the cdr output is readable for 3rd party billing system? is it similar to cme/cucm?

thanks!

Hasan

Hi Hasan,

Yes the UC-500 does produce CDR records, it either places them on the Flash Card in the system or spits them out to a FTP server, if the FTP server goes off-line the system automatically deposits them onto the flash memory.

The CDR records are near-real-time and are complex CDR records, meaning that are very much in-depth with information, you will need a third-party application to parse the information and produce it in a readable fashion, unless you understand what it is actually outputting.

I have attached two sample CDR records so you can see what they look like, one is with explanation and one is without and is just the raw file that gets dumped.

Cheers,

David.
