Uc540 help

I have a uc540 in a small business network. so the uc540 is  distributing vlan100 10.1.1.1 for the phones. A windows 2008 r2 server 192.168.0.6  is doing dhcp and a rv042g router 192.168.0.253 is the gateway. When i use cisco configuration assistant i cannot ping an external address. when i use passtru on the phones for data network dhcp by by windows server..i have internet. It appear vlan100 and 10.1.10.1 do not have internet access.

i have added static route in rv042g for 10.1.10.1 and 10.1.1.1. do i have to add static route anywhere else.

cue access works...voicemail to email does not.

any help would be great.

Hello Mike,

It is good to add a route on the UC itself to point from which gateway it should go for the Internet.

Under command line:

ip route 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0

can you do this using cca? also i can ping the gateway from 10.1.10.1 and 10.1.1.1 in cca.

Hello Mike,

You may ping them but if they do not know that they should go out from this gateway they cannot reach Internet.

You may try setting this under internet connection in CCA.

if i have a sip line no internet plugged into wan on uc540. system is not able to access the internet but when it does dhcp for 192.168.0.0 network from the server 2008 it has internet..i can ping the default getway 192.168.0.253  from 10.1.1.1. 10.1.10.1 but no internet. any help would be great
