UC540 Main Number alternate answer phone

I have a conundrum.  I have a main extension that is set to the Auto Attendant but I would like to have the Office Admin to be able to trap the call if he can before the call transfers to the Auto Attendant.

The Auto Attendant is on a hunt group 1 and is the only member.

So the Office Admin has ext 7020 and the main number is 7010.

How can I have 7010 show on his phone and be a part of the Auto Attendant at the same time.  When I try to put the extension on his phone using anything but "monitor" the extension is not in the list of available extensions.  And monitor does not let him pick up the call.

What am I missing here?  Can anyone give me a quick answer to setting this up?
