1) our own smtp server(it would not work if we set the ISP smtp right?)

2) we need a fax machine connected to FXO?(This is mandatory for only incoming calls or its not neccessary)

Email notification:

The same quenstion here we need our own smtp server or if we use the ISP smtp will be ok?

You don;t need your own SMTP server, and you don't need a fax machine.

Note, fax to email is not supported with SIP trunks.

Hi Paolo

Thank you for your answer

Fax to email is not supported with sip trunks?Do you have any official doc for that.We have to provide it to the customer

What about email notofication. If we use the ISP smtp is should work?

They dont have to enable email relay?

You can search documentation. It doesn't work because with SIP trunk there is no DSP in path, so it's impossible to convert the fax.

As above, no local smtp server is needed and no special settings.

Thanks for the nice rating, and good luck!

Paolo

So if we use an analoque line connected directly to fxo ?(without to use the sip trunk) it will be ok right>?

As above, fax to email works with all types of circuits but not SIP trunk.

Thank   you
