Hello,

I am currently planning a UC560 deployment with PRI. The provider is speakeasy and the speakeasy customer premise equipment is an Adtran Total Access 916. I was wondering what I need to do to get the PRI to work with UC560, any configurations and how?

Thanx,

You will need a T1 card for your UC560 if it doesnt have one already.

On the line side you will need to know the following:

Framing - SF or ESF (ESF is most common)

Line Code - AMI or B8ZS (B8ZS is most common)

ISDN switch type

time-slot assignments

Using CCA makes it a really easy process.

Thanx, man. So I need to be on the safe side, I should communicate with the client to request these details from their T1/PRI provider so I know the definite options to apply, right?

You might want to get in touch with the carrier directly, but yes that's correct.
