uc560 sslvpn secure?

The SSLVPN on the UC560 does not have any limit I can see on the number of attempts to log in by a remote user. What keeps someone from just running a continuos login attempt? In this case, the UC560 is both my firewall and my phone system. I am using VPN client, but it uses more resources and there is no VPN client for new windows 8 laptops to my knowledge.

Is this correct that SSLVPN should not be used for remote access since there is no limit on login tries?

While I am not defending this particular issue... I would like to point out that a secure password would take so many attempts to brute force that any attempt to do so would be impractical and essentially amount to a DOS against your system. If you are that concerned about it, you could always monitor the logs.

Thank you for your response? It just does not seem very secure with no limit on login tries.
