Hi,
I had a customer ask if they get Call Connector Server, will the client still work if they migrate from an Internal Exchange server to a hosted one (externally)?
I figured yes due to the internal UCC server stays and the client is more of a snal-in, but I need to confirm here.
Thanks,
Bob James

I have the same question.

Yes, on premise Exchange is not a requirement for the Call Connector server. UCC will work with Outlook regardless of the mail server that it is configured for.
Hope this helps.

Everything should still work the same as the integration is done through Outlook plug-ins and not directly to Exchange.

Cisco also has a Call Connector CRM plugin. What if the CRM software is hosted somewhere else. Would this be a problem?

The following link indicates that a hosted CRM solution is supported.
Hope this helps.
