Unable to access CUE

Hi,

We are having UC560 in our company. suddenly our cue has stopped working.

unable to reach cue..its giving fast busy tone but in CUE "service-module integrated-Service-Engine 0/0 status".. everything is up.

when i am trying access "service-module integrated-Service-Engine 0/0 session"..

its asking me to put username & password. but after that it gets stuck.

I reloaded, reset.. even i restarted the device.but still the same prob.

It is a issue of compact flash??

In one terminal, do service-module session.

In another, do service-module reset.

Observe if the CUE boots and any error message.

Try reinstalling CUE software, possibly in manual mode.

Was this resolved? I tried a new CF card and manually installing. I get stuck here with no addtional output. Maybe I'm not waiting long enough.

Actually the problem was with the flash.

I tried my best to resolved the issue. But at last cisco replaced our UC560 box, as it was under warranty.

**UPDATE**

Turned out not to be a bad flash but a bad CF slot or onboard hardware module. I was able to mount the CF reiser partition in linux and do a reiserfsck on it. Also tried cloning to a different CF and tried that CF in the UC560 with no change in outcome. I ultimately took the lid off a UC540 and put the UC560's CF in that one. I could see it read the partition and boot up as best it could under different hardware. There were various mountpoint errors but it did "boot". This told me the CF was still good.

This customer will need to replace the UC560 chassis. If they do, I should be able to pop their old CF card in and not lose any AA or VM recordings.
