Unable to dial extension in hunt group - UC540

Hi

I am having an issue with configuration of hunt groups can the [strike]Borg[/strike] Board help me?

I have a new UC540 and have configured a hunt group with 2 members and associated extensions (2 just now - more to follow) - the users and extensions are in the group.  When dialling the primary extension internally, it does not connect - audible busy tones.

There is a soft key on the handset for logging in and out of the hunt group  - both phones display this

Hunt group extension = 234

3 phones configured - 302, 230, 240

302  and 240 are in hunt group

All phones can call each other

I used Cisco Config Assistant and Config Wizard to set it up

Here is the config:

ephone-hunt 1 peer

pilot 234

list 302, 240

final 888

timeout 8, 8

no-reg pilot

IS 302 and analog line? What type of role is setup for that FXS Port?

Brian

Hi

302 is the extension - the pilot number for the group internally is 234

FX0/1/0 and 0/1/1 are set to trunk - they will go to the exisiting BT lines when we swap out the existing kit for the UC540

Cheers

I think what brian is asking is the FXS extension (302) operation mode.

Is it User Mode, COmmon Area, or FAX?

Hi

This was resolved by using the no ephone-hunt login command

Thanks for assisting
