I am having an issue with configuration of hunt groups can the [strike]Borg[/strike] Board help me?
I have a new UC540 and have configured a hunt group with 2 members and associated extensions (2 just now - more to follow) - the users and extensions are in the group. When dialling the primary extension internally, it does not connect - audible busy tones.
There is a soft key on the handset for logging in and out of the hunt group - both phones display this
Hunt group extension = 234
3 phones configured - 302, 230, 240
302 and 240 are in hunt group
All phones can call each other
I used Cisco Config Assistant and Config Wizard to set it up
Here is the config:
ephone-hunt 1 peer
list 302, 240
timeout 8, 8
username "user1" password 123456
username "user2" password 123456
username "user3" password 123456
pilot number: 234, peer-tag 20041
list of numbers:
302, aux-number A234A0000, # peers 1, logout 0, down 0
peer-tag dn-tag rna login/logout up/down
[20040 296 0 login up ]
240, aux-number A234A0001, # peers 1, logout 0, down 0
