Unable to factory default SPA-514g in SPCP mode

The "**#" trick to "unlock" that I could use on the 50x series no longer works on the 514g.  Maybe it's because the firmware I tested that on was 7.4.8a and the 514G doesn't go below 7.5.2b.

Anyone have any ideas on how to factory reset, or change to SIP, a 514g in SPCP mode?  I've tried getting creative with the .cnf.xml files but nothing seems to clear whatever admin password is set, or enable the web interface.  I even intentionally pulled the power during a firmware update to get it in SOS recover mode.

If there is a key press sequence or cnf xml file options to break this thing open, please share.

Perhaps try creating a file called spa514G.cfg with the below contents, put it on a TFTP server, and try and get the phone to load it using the normal TFTP options.  This should prevent the phone going into SPCP mode.

Thanks for the reply and I'll give it a shot.  But that config syntax is for when the phone is already in SIP mode.  The SPCP syntax looks like this:

I'm not sure about SPCP mode, but in SIP mode the reset to factory default is the part of phone menu.

Unfortunately (for you) the administrator may disable reset with no admin password known. In such case the phone is unrecoverable - according administrator decision. 

I assume the SPCP will have similar behavior.
