Universal Personal Communicator and the UC560

Will the UPC client work with the UC560 or do I have to purchase another appliance to have this work. I can't seem to locate any info on this.

IP Communicator will work with the UC560, Unified Personal Communicator works with CUCM (callmanager).

The functionality that we are looking for is the ability to show status and instant message between users. IP Communicator doesn't have this functionality as I understand it. Any further info would be appreciated..

You could look into Call Connector for this.

Currently, no CME boxes support UPC.
