CCA3.2.1 support 9971 phone load upgrade through SWP only for now, if you want to upgrade FW that not in the SWP and then should be a manual way.

example of 9-2-2

1. copy the phoneloads to flash/phones/9971

2. add tftp-server

tftp-server flash:/phones/9971/dkern9971.100609R2-9-2-2.sebn alias dkern9971.100609R2-9-2-2.sebn

tftp-server flash:/phones/9971/kern9971.9-2-2.sebn alias kern9971.9-2-2.sebn

tftp-server flash:/phones/9971/rootfs9971.9-2-2.sebn alias rootfs9971.9-2-2.sebn

tftp-server flash:/phones/9971/sboot9971.031610R1-9-2-2.sebn alias sboot9971.031610R1-9-2-2.sebn

tftp-server flash:/phones/9971/sip9971.9-2-2.loads alias sip9971.9-2-2.loads

tftp-server flash:/phones/9971/skern9971.022809R2-9-2-2.sebn alias skern9971.022809R2-9-2-2.sebn

Ok i think i worked it out for now.... when i upgraded my UC540 to 8.6 i didnt have the 9971 so the phone load wasnt selected. i am now just adding the phone load by getting CCA to look back at the UC540_8.6 upgrade pack and install the phoneload that way....

looks to be working, will report back soon!

Ok, i have managed to get it to update. i changed my machine running CCA to a laptop with a direct connection to the uc540 and it all worked fine as you would expect. just dragged the file onto the UC_540 and it uploaded.

the 9971 then updated after i rebooted it.

no onto my next problem of some missing .jar files for the SIP 9971...

almost there...
