Watch/Monitor Buttons do not show the correct state

I programmed several Watch buttons on SPA500 module and some buttons stay lit red even though the phones are not used.  When pressing the button it does call the Vacant phone.

How can I fix the state to be correct and only be lit red when the corrsponding phone is used?

I ended up resolving this issue. It turned out that ephone 7 had a overlay dn on button 1 and the designated line for this phone (ephone-dn 22) on button two. After I deleted these buttons and swapped them around so that the desigated line (dn-22) was set to button 1 and the overlays on button 2, it worked fine. For some reason the overlayed dn's were causing the phone to appear unregistered with the CME (BLF value -1).

I just experianced the same issue.

I found that I also had to remove the watched dn on the phone (Line one)

remove 1:xxx from the phone being watched and then re-add 1:xxx and the BLF light went out on the remote phone.
