Curious if anyone knows if the updated timeline for release Jan 2012 will still stick this time....customers asking for new phones/features...
Thanks!

I am waiting also, mainly for Cisco Mobile. They have until the end of Jan according to the Doc below.

Just remember guys it is a time line and a guide of sorts, which formulates part of the road map, unless their policy has changed it was not intended as a guarantee, so don't sell anything of it otherwise you might find yourself in hot water
If they do fall short it is because of good reasons though as has happened in the past
Cheers,
David.

Good reasons e.g. CCA late on QA or bug fixing?
Cisco is making a big mistake (loosing sales and irritating customers) by tying UC500 releases to GUI, and they won't recognize it.

Actually Paolo,
If they are tying the release of Software Pack 8.5/8.6 to CCA being ready to support it, I will shake their hand as it will be the first responsible decision they have made in a long time, there is nothing worse than release the latest Software Pack but to only be told that CCA does not support all its features yet so you will have to make do with what you got, tying the two together IS and SHOULD be the only way to do it.
The UC-500 series system is an SMB product with different feature sets to an ISR, people need to stop treating it that same as the ISR's because they are not the same.
Cheers,
David.

And, couldn't you express your opinion without sniping at the stars?
Because, you know, it's not for that that they are meant
Of course, since ratings are anoymous, apologies if I'm not talking to the shooter.
Anyway, summary of the situation as of today:
Current ISR G2 CME version: 9.0
Current UC500 CME version: 8.2 (Not having available: 8.5, 8.8, 8.8, 9.0)
Number of new features from 8.5 onward: 52
