Activating IPSec license on IOS-XE

I'm unable to locate the document that provides details to activate the licesne FLSASR1-IPSEC

please advice whether this license needs any PAK code to activate , according to my understanding FLSASR1-IPSEC is a RTU license , hence only we need to activate the evaluate license and it will moved to RTU after 60 day:

my question is how i can activate the ipsec license on IOS XE 3.7 Adv Ent image .

Yep! As per the below listed document FLSASR1-IPSEC is an eval and rtu lic.

Evaluation licenses can be activated using the license boot level {adventerprise | advipservices |ipbase} command.

1. enable

2. configure terminal

3. license boot level {adventerprise | advipservices |ipbase}

4. exit

5. copy running-config startup-config

6. reload

Hi Jatin,

thanks for the response . it was a mistake from my side , forgot to check the IOS version . Anyone get into this trap please check whether you are running K9 .

but does this command activate any feature specific license ? i think it only activates the base license right ?

license boot level {adventerprise | advipservices |ipbase}

for example if i want to evaluate following feature " Index 6 Feature: broadband_4k " how i can activate

but after upgrading the k9, these license activated automatically hence now RTU license are not honourd type license ?

Index 19 Feature: ipsec                         

        Period left: Life time

        License Type: Permanent

        License State: Active, Not in Use

        License Count: Non-Counted

        License Priority: Medium
