Anyconnect Client v4 Macbook problems

I have Anyconnect v4.5.x client on my Macbook with MacOS Mojave and have an intermittent problems with losing DNS functionality when I disconnect from the VPN. After a clean reboot of the laptop, everything works, I connect the AnyConnect client. After disconnecting, any sites currently open in Chrome continue to function fine, but any attempts to resolve new hosts fail, inn Chrome, ping, git, etc. Reseting my DNS cache on the mac does not seem to work. Reboot of the laptop gets everything back to normal. Have any of you guys experienced that? Is there a fix?

My recommendation is to try the latest version of AnyConnect. I looked and you should be able to download 4.6. I know that we have users in our organization using the MAC AnyConnect without having any problems. You could also possibly look at the group policy and what domains you have listed for DNS. I have had windows issues with DNS and split tunneling in the past.
