AnyConnect Client Versions & Licenses

hello all,

Could someone please recommend a stable AC client version?
Our endpoint clients are Win7 & Mac OSX 10.10 (Yosemite)
It looks like v3.1 & v4.0 are the latest versions available for download.

Does v4.0 use the new licensing model, or can we still use it w/ the old model?
We have AnyConnect Essential licenses on the ASA.

I'm running AnyConnect 3.1.05187 on OS X 10.10 and Win7 without any problems. This release also supports 10.10 officially.
