Anyconnect ssl vpn that downloads from the asa

Hi

I believe there is an option to download the ssl vpn client from the asa from the intial web page on the asa, what is this method called ? is it still client based ?

my question is, is this a real client that downloads and does it actually stay on your pc? or do you have to download it each time you connect to the asa?

I know there is a proper client I can install manually, but thats different isnt it?

Hello Carl,

Yes, the annyconect client can be download it from the Webvpn portal, Now you have the option to determine that it needs to be saved on the remote user computer. so next time he connects it will not be need it to get into the portal and just connect using the Remote AnyConnect client.
