Are you using a 32 or 64 bit Linux box? have you used the right Anyconnect client package in case it is 64 bit?

Thanks.

We are using both 64 bits.

Here are the dump:

Red Hat Enterprise Client 5.

Red Hat Enterprise Linux Client release 5.5 (Tikanga)

Linux phrsuburban.nlm.nih.gov 2.6.18-194.8.1.el5 #1 SMP Wed Jun 23 10:52:51 EDT 2010 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux

vpn: ELF 64-bit LSB executable, AMD x86-64, version 1 (SYSV), for GNU/Linux 2.6.15, dynamically linked

hmmm..just to confirm , you are using the                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                              anyconnect-linux-64-2.5.0217-k9.pkg package is uploaded on the ASA right?

Thanks.

Our engineer has only installed the client sw.

The vnc server is in

Suburban Hospital JHM

65.210.63.20

We have no idea what HW they are using and whether they have ASA or other FW servers module.

Should require certain software running in ASA or router that the server is connected to?

Thanks for your time and help.

I have the exact same problem with 32bit and 64bit on Fedora 12.  I opened a TAC case but haven't heard anything back.

version 2.5.0217

Hey Charles,

Please provide your case number.

Regards,

Atri.

Working with him now...

Hey Yao,

Could you please provide the "sh flash" from your ASA? From the logs it appears as though the linux .gz file may not have been installed on the ASA. If it is then please provide the output of "debug webvpn" from your ASA when you try to connect from the linux box.

Regards,

Atri.

2.5.1025 gave the same error.

Hi Atri and all,

Thank you people so much for all of the help.

Atri, unfortunately, we do not have the right to access ASA in server side. I will talk to the users to ask him whether he can get more info back.

Thanks again for all of you people's help.
