Anyconnect web install 2.5.0341 fails with MAC OS X 10.6.x

I tried to push the latest anyconnect client 2.5.3041 to windows and MAC users but it fails for MAC users.

This version has the fix for the recent PSIRT. The error message says " The Sun Java applet could not be launched. Please wait..." and then the web install fails. It works fine on windows. I tried different version of 2.5.x anyconnect client on MAC OS X and they all were successful. The problem seems to be with 2.5.3041.

It fails on both 32-bit and 64-bit systems. I tried the software update on my MAC and the Java version is up to date which has 1.6 update 24. Any ideas on where I can start looking?

No solution for you but we are seeing the same issue.

It does not occur on 10.6.7 systems that did not do the security update, but only on those that have.

AnyConnect 3.0.0629

Prior to attempting the AnyConnect install, I did perform the Software Update.
