Can I utilize an ASA 5505 with base license for L2L VPN between remote location and data center in the event of WAN failure at remote site. The remote location has 50 hosts. The plan is to tunnel all traffic, including Internet, to data center if MPLS leg fails. Will the base license support 50 hosts via IPSec tunnel?

Hi Rick,
ASA 5505, will not support 50 "concurrent" users. It can support maximum of 25 concurrent users.... and that to if you have sec plus license with it.

Hi rickp9786, do you already have the Cisco ASA5505 with you or are you looking at deploying one. I can check the part number that comes with the right license if that is the case. Feel free to message me directly.
Thanks,
