ASA 5510- Can't ping VPN clients but VPN clients can ping & connect with no issues

Hi,

I have a strange issue on my ASA 5510 (8.4). I can't ping or connect to the VPN clients but the VPN clients can ping/connect to any inside resources. I have checked all the NAT extemtion entries and its all fine any ideas guys?

sounds like misconfiguration on the client side. They have to allow your internal network/peer ip address to traverse through their vpn.

Hi,

This happen for all clients now. It was working before and then i noticed that i couldn;t connect to any VPN clients when I attempted to support a remote issue. Its very unlikely to be a client issue because i can't connect to any of the VPN clients but all VPN clients can connect to our inside network.

For anyone interested it was a Microsoft issue with the NLA Firewall
