ASA License Transfer Question

Hello.

I want to ask you about the ASA License.

I use Phone VPN by registering VPN Premium license(L-ASA-SSL-xxx=) and

Anyconnect licenses("L-ASA-AC-PH-5540=)with ASA5540X.

I bought the ASA5545X and would like to transfer a license that was registered with the ASA5540X.

I have three questions, and if you know, please answer them.

#1. Is it possible to transfer the license to ASA5540X -> ASA5545X?

#2. Can I activate Phone VPN on ASA5545X if possible?

#3. Once the license has been transferred to ASA5545X, ASA5540X
Will the license from be deactivated and all features will be unavailable?

Hi

I'm not a license expert but premium licenses are old licenses for anyconnect 3.x.
Today, with anyconnect 4.x, plus licenses will be required for your features.
However, premium have been discontinued and Cisco won't convert them even we a support contract.
Then the answer would be no.

If you still have a support contract (which I doubt because it's been a long time we switched to anyconnect 4.x licensing method), you can always ask but sending an email to licensing@cisco.com
