I need to set up two factor authentication for users that Anyconnect into our ASA. The management would like to use Azure MFA. Is this doc a good guide?

It is unclear to me what additional devices we will need in our DC. There is mention of a Windows server.
Is this a new server that we're supposed to build on our premises?
Does anyone have a good guide or video tutorial explaining the various components?
Does this solution mean that our own Windows NPS is no longer required and that the MFA server in the Azure cloud will be the new RADIUS server and will send authentication requests to our on prem AD server?
Is there an easier way of doing two factor authentication using an on-prem solution?
