Configure and Launch Android VPN app programatically

Is there a way to have my app configure and launch the Android VPN app?

My app will will use an out-of-band channel to request VPN configuration information from a server.  I would like to use the information to configure then launch the VPN app to establish the connection from my app.

No one has any idea how to launch AnyConnect+ from another Android app?

Does anyone have a list of actvities and intent-filters that are in the manifest?

OK.  I cracked open the Android apk file and looked at the manifest.  There certainly are many callable activities.  My test app can launch a couple of them.  But, there aren't any descriptions of usage and parameters.  And, the user docs show that you can enable/disable extranal control by other apps.
