Hi There,

We are using ASDM Version 7.9(2)152. There is a new update for Anyconnect Client images so, we have downloaded pkg files for all the os platforms but, when we try to upload the files it throws the error saying not a valid cisco anyconnect client image. Does anyone has this similar issue in the past? Any assistance 'd be highly appreciated.

What are the file-names of the packages that you are uploading?

Hi Rahl,

Than yu for your time.

The file names are anyconnect-linux64-4.6.02074-webdeploy-k9.pkg, anyconnect-macos-4.6.02074-webdeploy-k9.pkg and anyconnect-win-4.6.02074-webdeploy-k9.pkg

I tested this using the same ASDM and AnyConnect versions and did not see this. Can you check if the files that you have on the flash have the same checksum as the one the Cisco site? Also paste the screenshot of the error if you get a chance.

Hi Rahul,

Do you mean the size of the image when you referred to checksum? if so then, the one in the flash has lesser in size than the one in the Cisco website (as shown in attachment).

Yes. Clearly the file on the flash is of a lower size compared to the one that you downloaded. Plus, I am sure if you run a md5 or sha hash on both files, the checksum generated will differ. Delete the ones on the flash and re-upload them back.
