How to use 1941 as pptp vpn server

Hi guys any help here is much appreciated!

we have a 1941 router setup at work and want to vpn from home.

we cant connect though, it looks as though the tunnel connects but either cant authenticate, or doent like trhe encrypion.

Any ideas would be helpful

You do NOT want to setup PPTP server unless all other options fail, check Wikipedia article as a strating point.

Most modern day operating systems including smarthones will allow you to configure L2TP over IPsec.

Which is secure and quite robust.
