I have an rvs 4000 that will allow me to view my dvr feed from my remote location, but it keeps dropping the connection.

If I use a browser to administer the router and simple click the save changes button on any page, it will allow the viewer program to connect to my remote dvr again for a random time(usually once daily). I have put the static IP of the viewers computer in the dmz but it still happens. I am using a dyn-dns service and I have no trouble ever from home with a wrtg54. Any advice?  Thanks

The RVS 4000 that I have doesn't have a VPN keepalive option, which caused it to drop my tunnel connection until I set the other router (a RV042 which does support VPN keepalive) to enable keepalive. The same thing may be happening with your application.
