IOS tunnel mode ipip same as ASA ipinip?

I have a Tunnel setup between two IOS routers that is running in ipip mode.  I need to encrypt this tunnel with an ASA device.  I see the ASA has a protocol called ipinip.  Is this the same thing?  If I select ipinip as my traffic definition for IPSec will it encrypt my Tunnels running in ipip mode?

You can reference the protocols by numbers (if you're in doubt about names)

As far as IPsec goes - if it's IP, we can encrypt it :-)

Hello Martin and thanks for your input.

The names are exactly what is bothering me, not the protocol numbers.  Each device/OS is using a slightly different name.  The IOS router calls it "ipip" and the ASA device calls it "ipinip".  What I am looking to confirm is if both devices are refering to the same protocol even though they use different names.

Using your link I see that the protocol number for ipip is 94.  The IOS router calles it ipip so I am pretty sure it is referring to the same protocol.  Now the ASA calls it "ipinip".  It sure looks to be the same but I just want to make sure since they spell it slightly different.
