Hi Guys,

We have the send office opening soon and need to extend a network of existing office to a new office.

We also need two offices connected with a tunnel. So I thought about creating a L2TP tunnel over IPsec VPN.

I found this article but it describes Site-to-Client VPN setup, not Site-to-Site:

http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/security/asa/asa90/configuration/guide/asa_90_cli_config/vpn_l2tp_ipsec.pdf

One office has ASA 5505, other office will have ASA 5510.

Please advice how do I configure a Site-to-Site L2TP tunnel over IPsec VPN, or advice the alternative solution.

Thanks

Hey Taras,

I know this post is old but if you are still having this issue, please check out this pdf from Cisco on configuring L2TP over IPSEC.

https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/security/asa/asa91/configuration/vpn/asa_91_vpn_config/vpn_l2tp_ipsec.pdf

Hope this helps everyone that is having this issue.
