Logging users acessing RAS

We are running a remote access of a Cisco 2821 with a 4 ports ASYNC card. The userids are locally defined in the 2821.

We would like to be able to see who is logging in (and may be logging out as well).

Is there anyway to get this info in the log ??

Activating "debug dialer" will cause the router to log this information. You can leave the debug running all the time and connect a telnet session that never times out:

lin vty ..

exec-time 0 0

Use "term mon" on this session to see the log output. Of course you will get more than just the logon / logoff info but as a basic provision it is quite sufficient.
