Macintosh VPN Client

We are running MAC Snow Leopard (ver. 10.6.2).  Is there a way to copy the profile instead of giving the user the instruction how to configure the VPN client?  I do not want to give out the group name and the group password.

Thanks.

Laura

YUP , use the pcf files and have the user import them on the vpn client software. For example :-

if you have windows box --> program files ---> cisco  system --> vpn client --> profiles --> .pcf files.

so, you can configure your desktop's v[pn client with all the information and save it. Then access these pcf files , which you can provide to  users so that they can import them on their vpn client. The same cisco pcf files are compatible with open source "shrewsoft client app " too.

Hope it helps

thanks

Unfortunately Mac Snow Leopard (v. 10.6) uses built-in Apple vpn client which is provided by Apple, not Cisco, hence it does not support PCF file.
