Per-User QoS over L2TP VPDN at Gateway/LNS

Hi,

Trying to implement 'capping' of downstream users bandwidth but only have access to LNS/Home Gateway and RADIUS.

I've saw quite a few references to QoS on VPDN but this is applying QoS on PVC's or entire VPDN groups, for example. It can also seem to be configured on the LAC, but we don't have access to this!! I need to implement this on a per-user basis

Can this be done ??

Thanks

If you have ATM between LNS and LAC then on LNS you need to rely on ATM PVC which is unique and per user basis. So you can configure QoS for each PVC.

But actually, LAC is the one which controls the BW of a PVC so QoS needs to be configured on LAC.

Thanks Tejal for reply.

The problem is that we need to implement this at the Home Gateway/LNS end of the L2TP tunnel, on a per-user basis. Saw the references to per-PVC or per-VPDN group.

Thanks again.
