Recent issues with Cisco VPN in UAE

We have users in the UAE who until recently had been using Anyconnect with no issues. Within recent weeks they are having major connection issues and when the VPN does work, they are getting extremely slow speeds across the vpn, sub 500k. Speed across the internet is above 20mbps.

Has anything been reported recently with changes to VPN in UAE. I know Skype has recently been blocked there. Is there anything we can do to resolve this VPN issue?

A month ago UAE TRA started inspecting traffic over ADSL and 4G networks.
If your users are coming over these network using, especially using
Etisalat as provider then most likely this is the reason.

We are using the VPN in UAE. I didn't get any complaint from the user or from my laptop also for slowness or other. My Office and home both internet connections are with Etisalat.

May I know which VPN app you are using n UAE?

We are using SSL and IPSec VPNs and there is no issue. I didn't get your question about the application.

Note: VPN is allowed for the official purpose only. If you are using for personal for unblocking application or sites then there will a fine.
