tracert over vpn

Hi,

If i have a vpn concentrator setup in the following manner...

Internet

|

Router

|

VPN concentrator

|

Distribution Switch

a) Will i be able to see the vpn concentrator ip when i tracert from the Distribution switch to the router ( assuming no acl's are blocking icmp )

b) If i can, will i see the vpn concentrator's inside ip / outside ip ( assuming both scenario's as tracert from RAW internet and from inside LAN network via UD )

c) Will the conditions pertaining to tracert change once the vpn concentrator establishes a tunnel. ie : Would encrypted traffic see the vpn concentrator in their trace tests.

d) Since a vpn concentrator acts as a layer 3 device, can i run OSPF on it. I have worked on static routing using concentrators but would like some clarity with regard to this.

              Thanking you,

Regards,

I would also like to know if icmp traffic is classified as "interesting traffic" while being sent through a tunnel. ( assuming the icmp traffic is being generated from the pre approved source subnet )
