Unable to route between Quad Cards on a Pix 515e

I am having routing between ports on an individual Quad card and between Quad cards. I can however, route from the quad cards via the interfaces on the actual pix.

The pix I am using is Pix 515e and the software version is 6.2.3. All routes and configs appear correct.

Can anyone advise ?

how many interfaces do you have? if you have a unrestricted license, a 515 supports a max of 6 physical interfaces (a quad card and the 2 onboard nics).

There is one Quad Card containing 4 ports and the Pix has two of its own interfaces, 6 in total

I'm afraid that we are unable to provide you with a copy of our config. That would be a breach of security.

We are quite convinced that the problem does not lie with our config. It has also been stripped down to the bare basics

You may be missing static mappings between the interfaces?

If this isn't licensing, is it because you have

the interfaces set at the same security level?

I am only asking because it sounded like you are

able to route between these interfaces and other

interfaces (outside and inside).

If I recall, interfaces set to the same security

level are not able to communicate to each other.
