I have Windows 10 (OS Build 17134.1) configured with VPN client "Cisco Systems VPN Client 5.0.07.0290", on receiving error connecting to VPN repeatedly, VPN client repair action was initiated by support teams. During the installation or re-installation of the VPN client failed with error.

This client is End of Life for a very long time and not supported on Windows 10. It's time to move to AnyConnect or you can also try a client like the one from Shrew-Soft: https://www.shrew.net/download/vpn They also don't mention Windows 10, but perhaps you get that running.

As Karsten has already mentioned Cisco VPN Client is end of support and you should move to AnyConnect. That being said, there is a work-around. If you attempt this work-around you DO SO AT YOUR OWN RISK, and be informed that this is not a supported or recommended solution. I am providing this information as an educational reference and I do not endorse doing this outside of a lab environment.
