2511 IOS Code

All,

I have a very old 2511 router that is being in conjunction with a modem bank for PPP and fax modem access. It has become necessary to reload the IOS due to a boot error on the router. The code I am looking for is the existing, c2500-i-l.121-20.bin, and thus far I have been unable to find it anywhere on the Cisco site. I realize that the router is very old but I am in a pinch. The memory installed in the router is 8 dram and 8 flash. If anyone could point me in the direction of where I can get this code or what I can use in it's place I would greatly appreciate it.

I do not have a good answer for you about where (or how) to get a copy of this very old code. But your post should be a reminder to any of us who are running old routers with old versions of code - save a copy of the IOS image file on some external device (typically use copy flash tftp to copy to some server that will hold a copy in case you need it).
