Hi
I have a user who needs to use both ISDN channels when connecting to a central 5300 the second channel attempts to connect but then drops out. Does anyone know if there is a restriction on the 5300 to prevent this.
many thanks

Make sure, that there is proper load balancing with a dialer threshold of 0. Another casue can be, the 2nd B Channel shoots, up, but due to inactive traffic it drops down. If the config is fine, then it is a general issue from Telco end also. But to confirm it, ccollect the following debugs from user end (if its cisco), or from 5300 end
debug isdn q931
debug dialer
The q931, will give a casue code, which you can look up in cisco search "Understanding debug isdn q931 disconnect codes" . If it is telco which can be (90%) true....do contact them.
This will emphasize and clarify, that why this issue is happening.
Thanks.
