Is there any method to configure an ADSL router through telnet?

Of course, but you have to do some basic configuration at the console to make it reachable such as assigning IP addresss to a "routed" ethernet port.

I am assuming you want to come in on the LAN side.

why would you opt for telnet, yet putty-ssh is far better, b'se its secure :wink
