Advantages of Anyconnect 4.5 over 4.3

Hi all,

We are planning to upgrade from Anyconnect 4.3 to 4.505030. So can anyone please suggest some of the

i)major advantages of 4.5 over 4.3?

ii) Active bugs in Anyconnect 4.5 if any?

Note: I heard Anyconnect 4.4.x was a major release but when I went through the release notes, I couldnt understand it properly since I am kinda new to Cisco Anyconnect. So any help on this would be really appreciated.

Hi,

You should look at the latest version AnyConnect 4.6. The major advantage of using 4.6 over 4.3 or 4.5 is "any defects found in AnyConnect 4.0.x, 4.1.x, 4.2.x, 4.3.x, 4.4.x, and 4.5.x will be fixed in the AnyConnect 4.6.x maintenance releases only." The information is from the AnyConnect 4.6 release notes

I know that. The problem is our company policy is we should be using n-1 version of any product. Since Anyconnect 4.6 is a recent release, we dont know how stable or how many bugs are present in that version. So we are considering an upgrade to 4.5.
