AIM-VPN/SSL-2 installation in Cisco 2821

Hi all,

I have router cisco 2821 wit IOS version 12.4(25d)

I also have Cisco AIM-VPN/SSL-2 Encryption Module for this router.

I inserted this module in AIM slot 0 but can not see it.

I found in kb:

but I don't have "crypto engine aim" command

Router(config)#crypto engine ?

  accelerator  Crypto hardware device

  onboard      Onboard Crypto Engine

  software     Software crypto engine

when system is booting I can see:

0004F4            UNKNOWN                  AIM

What should I have to change to enable this module?

Zigmunds,

AIM/SSL engines require

IOS 12.4(9)T at least, while you're running older 12.4 mainline release.
